More Precious Than Pearls | Biblical Mentorship Curriculum

The first of its kind— a Biblical Mentorship Curriculum for girls and young women!

Not too long ago, I was struggling through my teens and early twenties—searching for direction, identity, and hope. Then, I met my first mentor. She listened with compassion, encouraged me to pray, seek wisdom, and set goals that would lead me toward a better future.

That relationship changed everything.

I pray this curriculum becomes a mentor to you as well—whether you walk through it on your own, alongside a mentor, or in a small group with other mentees. More than anything, my deepest prayer is that within these pages, you encounter the deep, abounding love of Christ that changes lives—just like it changed mine.

The More Precious Than Pearls biblical mentorship curriculum was created for young women (ideally those between the ages of 12 and 25) who are imperfect Christians. I created it for the “younger me.” This guidebook is filled with twelve chapters covering some of the most challenging topics girls are facing today, according to research and my own poll. I caution girls about decisions I made—and learned from—the hard way, so that they don’t have to make the same mistakes. I share my own stories and testimonials from growing up, offering a been-there-done-that perspective that empathizes, encourages, motivates, and simply responds with, “I understand, sis, and you’re going to be okay because God…”

Every chapter points to truth from God’s Word, our identity in Christ as precious daughters of King Jesus, and the incredible power of prayer. 

This curriculum is filled with wisdom and insight that can be utilized individually for spiritual growth and discovery, in small groups with other mentees, or in a one-on-one mentoring relationship with someone who is simply willing to listen and lead.

• 12-session topical curriculum (sessions can be completed weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly). It’s recommended to spend six to 18 months on the full curriculum, with at least two meetings per topic.
• Pre and post self-assessment on all twelve topics to track confidence level, progress and opportunities
