Not too long ago, I was struggling through my early teens and twenties—searching for direction, identity, and hope. Then, I met my first mentor. She listened with compassion, encouraged me to pray, seek wisdom, rest in God's presence, and set goals that would lead me toward a better future.

That relationship changed everything.

Who is it for and what age group?

The More Precious Than Pearls biblical mentorship curriculum was created for girls and young women who are imperfect Christians. I created it for the “younger me.” Some are using our curriculum with middle schoolers, others with high school students, and still others with college-aged young women. I encourage you to pray about if this is a good fit for the girls you have in mind, take a look at the topics in the Table of Contents (pictured) and feel free to download an excerpt (Chapter 10 on Friendships and Fitting In) as an example here. (Some may choose to skip chapter 7 on Sex, Purity, and Self-Control with younger mentees.)

This keepsake is filled with twelve chapters covering some of the most challenging topics girls are facing today, according to research and my own poll. I caution girls about decisions I made—and learned from—the hard way from middle school through college and beyond, so that they don’t have to make the same mistakes. I share my own stories and testimonials from growing up, offering a been-there-done-that perspective that empathizes, encourages, motivates, and simply responds with, “I understand, sis, and you’re going to be okay because God…”

Every chapter points to truth from God’s Word, our identity in Christ as precious daughters of King Jesus, and the incredible power of prayer. 

This curriculum is filled with wisdom and insight that can be utilized individually for spiritual growth and discovery, in small groups with other mentees, or in a one-on-one mentoring relationship with someone who is simply willing to listen and lead.
